Final
determination is based on the number of train moves o
ver the crossing, condition of the rail,
and the ability of the railroad to maintain the system. Future
costs for system maintenance is also a key focal point that is
discussed with the operating railroad.
We will
also provide support service for new and old detection systems.
Those services include the reproduction of old or faded signal
plans (that do not meet FRA requirements) relay and cable testing,
and the development of maintenance programs for the
periodic inspections required by the FRA.
In addition
to "Turn Key" signal installations, we have the ability
to rebuild the track structure at highway grade crossings and
install new crossing panels, including concrete or rubber. We
will work directly with the Government Agency(s) involved to
provide quick development and completion of any new project.
